Formerly known as the 11th Signal Battalion, the 11th Civil Response Battalion was renamed to more accurately reflect the VDF’s evolving mission sets. In addition to interoperable communications, members of the 11th CRB provide administrative and logistics support to the Virginia National Guard on state active duty and also provide traffic management and access control support for community support events.
